They do actually! I was just being my usual smart *$$ self . They also line up on a specific street and can easily be picked up, if it was in san fran, then I would wonder! Lol. Flattie, if you need any dim or measurments pictures etc of mounting stuff let me know.
Cheers

Iwanna, I hope you meant the PO torched the frame mounts off, not the actual cab mounts?! That could be tough to duplicate.
under the cab there is a small subframe, this subframe is untoched but the mounts for the sbuframe to the chassis are cut in half.these mounts are pyramid looking ones I will post pics later

Awesome pics Ilya... must have been fun!

The first pictures are 2 potential donors.
the 3rd is how I moved the cab around by myself,I make the old f1 work hard! I dont know if I would do it if I painted the poor truck.

just cleaning.

I had to be careful not to sand the lettering that was covered by the thick red primer.
Does anyone know if they painted the inside the cab with red oxide primer from factory or dealer???or was it the cheapest primer/paint back then???
my f1 and the coe are white under all the red primer and I believe they were made in the same factory in Long beach???

do you have places where its peeling off.I have the same off white under everything and when I try painting over the white the paint doesnt stick or it bubbles. Its just weird that both trucks have it.
Yours looks like the color on my coe and the interior on my f1 lexcoe

Nothing under mine except bare still on the inside and of course the factory primer n stuff outside. Maybe yours was white to begin with and was painted Vermillion later in its life.
Mine came to life in Long Beach to. John
