The casual observer would probably think you've been smoking some strange stuff, but the gearhead/darksider in me thinks it's going to work and look real cool!
Wait till you get the coe running and driving around Death Valley and tell me about the heat inside the cab, I was in a parade on the 4th, 93 degrees outside, had to be 115 inside my coe, good luck, Garry
UPDATE.
Shortened the wheelbase to 110"
Figured out my steering
figured out my brake and acc pedal
Placed the booster on firewall
Fabricated mounts for the cab to chassis.
Tore down the engine to find a lot of water in cilynder number 2 and 7.
None of m steering components are welded or cut except the steering column ??jacket?? or tube was shortened.
I used astro van,c20 and 1951 coe components.
QUESTION 1
After you watch the video, will you tell me if the steering u joints are ok or do they look like they are binding?
when I turn it I dont feel any bindidng just want a second opinion from your 40 years of chassis, steering and suspension experience.
QUESTION 2
On the last picture.
I want to use the stock pedals so I was thinking of welding/bolting the old stock pedal to the 81 c20 pedal.
Is this a good idea??
It would be welded by an experienced welder with an arc welder.
If it cant be welded,Can I drill though it and bolt the 2 parts together??
QUESTION 3
I Broke the plastic housing that goes in the back of my booster and a lot of springs/brackets/seals came out.
Can I replace this parts or do have to buy a new booster/MC.
Thanks to Josh for the great pics he took for me and to ??Terry?? aka 38Chevy454 for his help.
Q1-looks good from here. does that still have the weight of the motor on it? anytime you monkey w/ steering on a first time mod, that first test drive has twice as much adrenaline...
Q2-fab that puppy up. should be able to weld 'em. grind some V's and get a good deep weldment penetration.
Q3-no idea on the spilled guts...

Thanks Vintage56 The motor still in there and transmission too,Gonna cut a couple of coils to lower it a bit.
It does feel good to have resolved the steering issue,I didnt want to cut or weld steering parts for safety reasons.
On the pedals I opted to use the COE stock pads on the C20 pedals,It should look a little classier.
A friend told me that he has a good Booster and Master cylinder that hes not using so I will use that,Its out of a suburban.
If if its not the same set up,I will order a replacement online.
I really wish they made a booster MC to go under the floor.
