4.6's

I have a 97 Scab S.B., 4.6 2wd with 3.55 rear. Bought it in 99 with 60K on the odometer, currently it has 175K. As far as reliability, I've had a tuneup, air filters and an alternator plus normal maintenance since I bought it. It hasn't even had the valve covers off since I've owned it. Extremely reliable and I can get 20+ mpg highway out of it. Most things I carry are furniture or lumber, and for that it works well. If I was going to tow I'd use my 07 heavy half, that's got a 5.4 with 4.10's in it.

I have a 08 2wd Screw with the 4.6 and I absolutely love it. I had an old 98 F250 LD with the 5.4 and this truck I have now id say is a lot better than the one I had. I love my 4.6 and honestly don't have anything bad to say about it.

wow...necro-post! lol

But I love my 4.6 and wouldn't trade it for the world. Had it since new and she's been a damn good truck for me.
