grinding noise ??
Started to here a grinding noise on the right front when i'm accelerating,take my foot off the gas,it stops & if i switch to 4 wheel drive, it stops. I bought a new switch,unbolted it from the fire wall & 1 of the vacuum hose lines(plastic)was broken,so i bought a new one(1 piece with 3 connectors,2 go to the switch & 1 to the check valve at the manifold. Took it for a ride,no noise,great!! Know my 4 wheel drive won't engage,I turn the shift on the fly to 4wd & the light shows it's on but it's not working. Any advise??? I here it clicking when i turn the switch on & off. Should i have put the new switch in?? If it's clicking, dosn't that mean it's working?? my 4 wheel drive worked before i put in the new lines, where or what did i do wrong???
