Trans just puked...

My transmission just puked about a quart of fluid. Its 80 degrees outside and the temp of my trans got to 150 degrees. Today is the first time i have driven my truck in 80 degree heat, am i screwed? Did the trans just take a dump on me?

The front bellhousing drip hole.

I just checked the level again and its still full it says. I am guessing it doesn't like my driveway. (1/4 mile with a 20-30% slope climb) cause it started dripping when i got to the top and then just poured out when i put it in park.

That is some slope! 1320 feet at 25% slope means the end of the drive is 330 feet higher than the start of the drive. Is it? That is a STEEP slope!

You probably need to climb that in 4x4L to keep from overheating the trans on a slope that steep.

You probably overheated the front seal on the TC. It will leak but seal back up when it cools. Bad thing, it will leak again when under that kind of load. There is an upgraded seal out there that helps with this but you have to pull the tranny to replace.
