Hey there everyone, really hoping someone can help me out with this problem. Basically this is what happened, I replaced my master and slave cylinder because my pedal was sticking to the floor, in the process I came to realize my clutch fork had busted so I also replaced that. But now my clutch pedal seems like it has to much free play in it before it actually engages? When I first start the truck it has this problem but if I pump the clutch a bunch of times it seems to slowly get some pressure built up. I have bled the line countless times but it never last long and the problem comes back... help please

You can take the slave cylinder out of the trans and leave it hanging down, use something on the reservoir cap to draw a vacuum on the lines for awhile to see if it helps. The new master and slave cyl "should" be fine, other than the air in it. These things are a PITA to bleed. Pulling a vacuum on them is the easiest way I have found to do it.
Also make sure the plastic piece in still on the pedal where is attaches to the linkage, if it is not there you will also have excessive play.
Best way to get the air out of the system is bench bleed clinder. Have a freind push in compression fitting at end of line that goes to slave cylinder. While that fitting is pushed in have someone puch punger in to push fuild out fitting end. Do this 4 or 5 times do this in order . Let the fitting out first then punger repeat 4 times if its the. All air will be removed. Keep resouvoir full while doing process.
