TGIF! Have a happy & safe day. Saturday I work at Thunderbowl Races.

Typical Friday the13th (kinda)...off to E.R. we go. My daughter's knee popped yesterday at school & was swollen. She couldn't bend it or walk on it yesterday, but today it's still swollen (no bruising) & it still hurts to bend/move it - but atleast she can! A pop is better than a snap/crack! I'm think she tore a ligament or tendon on the side of her knee.
How did it go, Donna?

Thanks for asking.
Kaedon (my daughter) did not fracture her knee, so the dr. didn't feel that she needed to xray it, however recommended I take her to a Ortho for further treatment & possible physical therapy. She wrapped it with a ace bandage & said it may be a torn or sprained ligament or tendon.

Kaedon's better today & it doesn't hurt unless she touches it. She can bend it normally now & has even been outside today riding the quad. Ofcourse we're keeping it wrapped & ice it occasionally to be on the safe side, but so far, so good.

That's good to hear. Even the little things can worry you when it's your kids. The quad is good therapy.

Glad to hear it Donna. Knees are not good to injure when young. I know former High School & College Football players that at 40 years old can't hardly walk. I can't hardly walk after lying carpet for a few years along with being a contractor but I'm old. My brain doesn't work very well either, it got sprained years ago.

Good morning everyone.

If everything goes according to plan, I will be down in Vegas next week on the 17th and 18th. I am supposed to take some of the student workers down and will likely have some time on my hands if anyone wants to get together for coffee or something. I also want to hit a wrecking yard or two if time permits. Anyone know of a good one? Or a set of EFI 460 heads?
