Good Morning Nevada. Tommy & I just returned from a visit to one of the local care facilities. Tommy & I are involved with Love on a Leash. He is working on becoming a certified Therapy & Service Dog.

That's great Craig, my wife is a groomer and has several therapy dog clients, as well as some K9 dogs for the Essex and Morris County Sheriff's Department!

Hey everyone! The laptop's been in the shop for awhile, someone who shall remain nameless managed to get yet another virus on it lol. Enjoying the nice weather, hoping it will continue long enough to get my garden started! Next race is next Saturday in Winnemucca.

TGIF! Have a happy & safe day. Saturday I work at Thunderbowl Races.
Typical Friday the13th (kinda)...off to E.R. we go. My daughter's knee popped yesterday at school & was swollen. She couldn't bend it or walk on it yesterday, but today it's still swollen (no bruising) & it still hurts to bend/move it - but atleast she can! A pop is better than a snap/crack! I'm think she tore a ligament or tendon on the side of her knee.

Wow Craig, that dog almost looks like my old dog Daisey that we had to put down a few months back. She was an awesome dog and we had her for like 12 years.
Now we have Leia which wasnt a replacment for our loss but she is slowly taking over where Dasiey left off.

Yea sometimes I think I need a groomer with him to shave him. When we got him the animal shelter did shave him. He looked pretty funny, but I'm sure he was cooler & he didn't shed like he does now. He will also serve as a Service Dog for me. Our Team Leader with "Love on the Leash" is an instructor she told me she would help me get that done also. But first his Therapy Cert. He has 7 more hours to complete that.

Yea they do look alike. Tommy is 6 years old & I lost my Black Lab the first of 2010 Tommy came along in April of last year. He is a rescue dog, that was a product of the bad economy in Nevada. The people that had him lost there house & Tommy wasn't able to go with them. They took him to the Animal shelter in Douglas County, NV where he found me a week later. He is just a super dog.
