Evening guys.
Yes Miles is was a GREAT day out today.
I almost forgot what the sun looked like.

Miles I washed my truck, wife's van, and the tractor tonight so I am sure it will rain at some point.

I avoid water spots buy using my backpack blower to do the initial drying.
It also gets all the water out of the little spots you can't get to.

I know I have a very hard time with the crappy gas caps on my blower and trimmer, and they have finally recalled it.

Stihl Inc. is recalling 2.3 million gas-powered lawn tools because of potential burn hazards. The recall applies to certain backpack leaf blowers, extended reach hedge trimmers, pole pruners, edgers, trimmers, brushcutters, clearing saws and KombiEngines.A full list is available at

FINALLY!

Those things drive me bat sh** crazy! Although if you put it in once then tug on it and put it in again they usually stay. You only get drenched with gas once (or twice or three times) before you remember to double check the cap.

And in other news...

Yes, it did rain somewhere. It rained where I am, Wisconsin!!! Darn that dreaded rain.

For supper tonight, I went to a place called Prime Quarter Prime Quarter Steak House - Grill your own U.S.D.A. Choice Steak over a live hickory charcoal grill! it's a grill your own selection. Go to the glass door refrigerator and grab a steak and start grilling on their fire pit. Includes salad bar, Texas toast, baked potato and you can get sauteed mushroom and onions. A bar will serve you anything you want too!!!

rich, i have been seeing a lot of industrial generators on the road lately. i think large manufacturing places are starting to see how much they can save by running them. i know covidien in north haven put a bunch of CAT units in and run them on natural gas. they are using the exhaust heat to replace electric heaters in certain manufacturing processes they use, and if the numbers are right they will be cutting off of the grid entirely and running solely on the generators. i thought it was pretty interesting. what kind of injectors are the ones you replaced today?
Finally I remembered to bring the injector information home. They are using Interstate Diesel OEM Standard from Engine Systems Inc. Rocky Mount, NC. http://www.kirbycorp.com/4_kes/esi/index.cfm

Hey Rich! I went to a place like that one winter when my buddy and I were up hunting. There was a ski resort town nearby, so we decided to go into town for a night, and ended up finding this place. Same idea. Pick your stick, and then go cook it. It was pretty cool, until I realized I was paying the same price(more than usual actually b/c of the ski resort town) for a steak that I had to cook as I would for a steak that was cooked by someone else. Still a fun thing to do. I would say it was a lot better than what we were doing at camp, but we were enjoying leftover moose steaks from the year before's hunt. No cute waitresses at camp though
