Morning all, we are thinking about all the men and women who have and are serving in the military for this great country. My son is in Hawaii in the USN as a Crypto Tech, he has about two more year to go. My father and his brother were in Europe & S America during WWII in the Army, and I served at the end of Vietnam (Era) in the USN.

Today was not my day, should never have gotten out of bed. Decided to go to the portland fairgrounds with some friends made it about 100 yards and bent my steering stabilizer. And somehow, after stopping to get something to drink and not hearing a noise after inspecting my truck, i get to my friends house and the back right tire has a slice in the sidewall and is loosing air.

On the other hand, i think my truck looks pretty good with black wheels. good thing i took the spare out a while ago sanded and repainted it so it doesnt look terrible. i also met this kid with this set-up:

Damn, that's a huge truck! I recently got back to the area, was looking forward to taking my truck through the woods. Had to get it running first though!
So I replaced my fuel pump, and fuel lines, siphoned about two gallons of bad gas outta the tank and she ran, for one drive to lowes! Guy follows me into the lowes, tells me theres fuel sloshing out of my truck, sure enough, look under there, a hole has rotted through, as well as the cross member that supports the rear of the tank, completely rotted away. So I go start the truck to bring it back home, nothing.
Then proceeded to replace the starter solenoid, still nothing, had to have AAA tow it home. Go bring my starter to the store next, its bad, so I replace it, still the truck wont start. Bring the battery to the store, it tests good, but I tried the battery from my dads truck and it cranked, so got a new battery!
After all that, cut out the cross member, got a new one from the junk yards, bolted it in, got the new tank and straps in now shes all set to go!
Anyways, besides that rant, just installed some custom AC today!
