Intercooler

Hello everyone I am wondering if anyone know anything about aftermarket intercooler I have found a few from $1,000 to $1,600 than I ran across a mishimoto intercooler for $800. Have anyone us this one or know anything about this brand or any other brand. I would like to step up the cooling not just replace the same cooling ability thanks for all input.

stock coole rworks pretty well for the most part. from the reading I have done they really only help when towing. as a daily driver no need.

I put the Banks kit in, but if youre doing the intercooler do the charge tubes and intake at the same time.

I like banks but I think the exhaust and intercooler are a bit pricey for me but I do like the features. That is my plan one installment for everything

I just bought the banks intercooler and intake with charge tubes, ya it is pricey. Up here in Canada everything is 40% more!

With the stock intercooler doing good i would go for a modded intake manifold 1st like the one from gogodiesel if you really want to spend some money. Look at the inside if the stock manifold on that site and i you'll agree thats "free" horsepower to be had.

The intercooler is not the place to start.

arp head studs, egr delete, STC fitting update, Fuel Regulator update.

Banks uses a bigger intake elbow than any other elbow. Others use the same stock size boost tubes. Banks uses bigger tubes, thus a bigger elbow with better flow.

LOOnatic I like that a lot that intake from go go diesel looks great and if it frees up that much flow and delete the EGR it seems to be well worth the money
