An '06 should have the zerks, and you definitely want to give them a shot of lube. I do it every other oil change. They are often missed because they are the only zerks on the whole front end. Probably on the whole truck.

bpounds is right - that's the zerk. A couple years ago I crawled around under there looking for anything that could be greased and found nothing. After I started having the steering problem I was told that an '06 should have zerks on the front outer u-joints. I turned the wheels all the way to one side and crawled under - still could not see them, but after I cleaned the gunk I could feel them on the back side. I put it in 4WD and backed up 1 foot then the zerks were facing me and could easily be greased.
