a $200 a week paycheck doesnt support $100+ a week in gas to well, so im listing my truck on craigslist soon and i was just wondering what you guys think its worth?

its a 2000 F250, extended cab shirt bed, 5.4L, 5 speed, 4x4, manual transfer case, AC, PS, PW, Viper alarm, vent visors, towing mirrors, factory cd player, its got wiring for an amp/sub, bug deflector, 6000k hids, Romick Bull bar, running boards, its got the dana 60 up front, ford 10.5 in rear, runs good, drives good, clutch good. all the following have less than 5k miles on them---285-75-16 cooper discoverer S/T tires, rancho 5000 shocks all the way around, front axle u-joints and front axle seals, new exhaust from y pipe back, new starter, dipstick tube, heater core, both axles flushed, injectors just cleaned(good job at my buddies shop, not just pour in a bottle of cleaner job, toolbox is only couple months old, same with whips. i know im missing some stuff but ill try to add it.

front suspension is TIGHT, needs nothing up there, all ujoints are good in driveline

i was thinkin of starting at $7,000 OBO, and go down to 5500 BOTTOM, i have about $4900 into it

Knowing the location would be nice as well?
I found that posting advertisement with long list of parts that you changed in last months is NOT making good impression.
If you put $4900 to keep it running, who would like to take it over?

Your pricing seems to be good to me (without actually seeing or driving it). Good luck with the sale...Hope you're able to get back on the 250 train again soon! By the way, gas is killing me also..I'm at about $12500 a week.

Id give you that for it in a heart beat seems to be in good shape. Where you located ?

 

I see you're in Illinois, so if it has any rust that will affect the price. I know that here in Oregon that truck would easily bring $10K with no rust. I think $7K is a steal and $5,500 is giving it away.

Speaking of ads. Have you done a comparable search using autotrader.com or other sales websites?

You should be able to pull up a truck similar to yours with the same milage and see what your competition is asking.

You may find that you are willing to settle for way to low...
