Who has a front mount trailer hitch installed ?, mainly for carrying bicycles and such.
Although I think my mind has been made up, as the frame horn mount style requires the front license plate, and fog lights to remain removed for a successful installation. The first curt hitch mounts with the blocker beam, and doesn't require anything to remain removed.

Similar frame horn mount.
I have a front receiver and while its of the homemade variety, it does tie in to where the old blocker beam used to be. I've used it to move trailers around the yard, way easier to see what you're doing and get the trailer parked just perfectly where you want it when you're looking right at it.

I have a front mounted receiver like you described.
I removed my front license plate bracket and use a license plate mount I can put in the receiver. as far as the fog lights go I removed my factory ones and installed a aftermarket set of fog lights that I bolted to the tube of the receiver. They are in the factory location, and tied into factory wires.
I just finished an axle/tire/wheel upgrade on my camper. I posted the original newer items I removed in the Marketplace. Here's the link in case anyone is interested.
So its time to let Sherman go. We bought a P3 brake controller for towing our RV. Am I correct that newer trucks have brake controllers and we don't need the brake controller in the new truck? It would be a nice selling feature I think.

Some do, some don't. My buddy has a '17 Ram that has a built in controller. Pretty sure the newer Super Duty has them as well. It may be an option though, so you'd want to verify.
FWIW, if I were buying new to me (used) Excursion (or truck for that matter), and I saw a brake controller in it, I'd look at it harder than without. Things like suspension, drivetrain, and brakes would get a more critical eye. But that's just me.

Thanks. Do you think it would turn off potential buyers to know we towed? Is that why you mention that?

It will turn some lookers off, and as said above it will make other lookers take a closer look. Remember though, you only need ONE buyer!
I will be listing my EX this Spring and I will advertise it as a tow rig, all of the mods that I’ve done to it were to make it a better tow rig and that was the sole purpose that we bought it and used it for. Let the lookers have their look, I think that a good solid wagon will sell itself. Figuring out what to list it at is a challenge……….
FWIW,
my sister has a 2010 Ford Raptor SVT with a factory builtin brake controller.
( I found it extremely frustrating trying to get it programmed for the trailer's weight )
the Raptor has a touch screen panel for everything, Ain't worth a damn.
Pulling a Horse Tack Trailer loaded with her household furniture, it quit working within a few hundred miles.
I am going to install a Prodigy P3 brake controller instead, I have 3 of them already on other vehicles and all work perfect.
Before the Ex, we had a 1997 Expedition. Limited slip was a factory option. Before that we had a Dodge Caravan XL.
The Dodge had a towing package rated at 3500 lbs. I towed a VW Rabbit race car, a tow dolly and tools/spare parts that made it a pound or two below the limit. It worked. I would park right next the guys with the million dollar tractor/trailers hauling the expensive cars. Lots of fun. Then came the kids.
If the vehicle has a tow package …..

To Tom's point, it would just make me look harder and others may look the other way. And to other folks' point, lots of folks may assume it was a tow wagon base don being an X.
Tom, your rig should DEFENITELY command a premium. You might look at bringatrailer and see what comparable rigs have sold for. I think you have one of the most capable rigs I've ever seen, and you should get value for that.
