I like the solid color Limited - nice Ex!

I've come to like the paddle mirrors, I feel the tow mirrors stick out
too far, the Ex is already plenty wide enough for me.
I don't need to turn my head to check my blind spots.

Here is a clamp-on blind spot mirror which I have added to my Ex.
http://www.autosportcatalog.com/blind-spot-mirrors.cfm

They attach perfectly to both paddle mirrors (on top as shown).
It actually fits the contour shape pretty well too.
They also mount below, but the pass side is blocked by the door sill,
so I mounted both above the mirrors.

I have "stick-on" blind-spot mirrors to see the rear wheels.

Thanks for your insights.

This will sound pretty stupid...but part of my reason for the mirrors is the look...lol...Just makes it look more bad *** to me. However, I do want the increased visability.

Really? Huh, I wonder what Ford changed between '97 and '99 on the 5.4 modular engine to make that happen.

I used to pull the fuel rails on my 99 5.4 expy and still do on the lightning...just makes it easier imo. Pita to get the coil packs out otherwise. I pull each injector, inspect and relube the o-rings, and reinstall each time as well.

I've never worked on a '99 so I don't know, but I hope that between '97 and '99 they modified the engine compartment slightly to evacuate some of the heat that builds up at the back of the motor.

Since hitting 60,000 miles my F-150 has dropped a "back row" coil or plug about once a year. Since I'll replace both back plugs as preventative medicine, that makes the mean time to failure for the back-row parts about 3 years, or 45,000 miles (after the first 60,000).

Wow bro, I didn't think any of the L brethren pulled the rails!

I will say this, I LOVE the Madenterprise coil screw extenders!
