Drivers side glovebox

How is everyone today? I just bought an 05 F350 and I need a little advice. The handle for the drivers side glove box is broken and I can't figure out how to get it open without breaking it. Does anyone know an easy way to get it open? Or is it possible to take it out without opening it up? I want to get it out so I can buy a new one! Thanks for any help you can offer!!

This happened with one of our company trucks, I think they wiggled the handle until it opened, once it unlocked, they put plumbers grease in the latch and it works smoothly now. More than likely you will need to get it opened (possibly break it).

It's been a few months now so I forgot some :-( I stuck a screwdriver in the slot where the handle broke off from and I pushed up or down. Once you find the spot it opens right up, no need to pry or force it open. The door itself comes off by squeezing the sides to compress it enough that the tabe will clear the houseing it's in. Then it just pulls off from the bottom. I got the door at the local ford dealership and it cost me around $85. I should have gone through Parts Guy Ed cause he was about $30 cheaper. Live and learn on that one. All in all it was really simple and pretty cheap to fix. Hope that helps!
