08 vent emblems on 02

It has been a pain but i almost got some 08 vent emblems installed on my 02. They don't exactly just go on it took me a bit of modifing to get them to fit. As soon as i get the vents painted i will get some pics up. I can't wait

They turned out pretty good but i'm glad it's over sorry for the glare on the emblem.

Am I seeing correctly? Are those the black grilled emblems? Only reason I ask is that the black grills are from gassers while the diesels have red grills.

The emblem is 3 pieces the F-250 emblem the frame and the vent. You have to take the vent off line it up on your truck and mark the vent. Then get some ***** of steel and take a body saw to the fender and cut out vent. After this it is just tidious work fitting them in took me about 6 hours total
