FAKE VENTS Vent

Yet another "I drove an 08 thread"

I can't get over the FAKE VENTS and the SUPERDUTY logo embossed anywhere it would fit.

Will the FAKE VENTS come off?...FAKE VENTS on a SUPERDUTY (Someone needs to be fired)

Trying to look past the FAKE VENTS, I like the truck and with some aftermarket mods (new heads, removal of FAKE VENTS, aftermarket grill, 4" lift, 35" tires and dual exhaust) it should look good.

I think those fender vents are functional.....Plus the hole is recessed into the fender

They aren't fake at all. Ford couldn't meet the cooling requirements of towing without them. They are functional and flow hot air out from under the hood.

I wonder, does the "XL" trim level include the embossed "Superduty" everywhere?

I know the SUPERDUTY on the front grill was "inspired" by a Rover.

Yep. Saw a 450 or 550 XL and it had Superduty everywhere.

Me Bad. I thought they were fake Vents.

There's lots of guys sticking fake vents on their trucks and SUV's trying to copy the Range Rover and 07 Escalade. I doubt the Escalde needs Vents. Ford should have made the vents more industrial and less flashy. The vents, along with the SUPERDUTY embossed up the wazoo looks trashy pimp.

Still like the truck and just few aftermarket add-ons would make it look killer.
