Ok, I'll try this a 2nd time. 1st post didn't show up. Last weekend I did my spring under hood cleaning with simplegreen. After I decided to install the
GPR LED that I had. I did the install and tried it but it didn't work. Checked all
my wiring and tried a couple more times then it started working, I assumed it
was because it was so warm out that the computer wasn't calling for the relay
(which was replaced about a month earlier). I monitored it all week and figured it was the "new" relay. So this morning when I installed my new ICP and HPx
(thanks Clay), I decided to install an "old" relay that I had in my toolbox.
Turns out the LED is working fine, and my brand new relay is crap.
So the purpose of this post is to inform that not all new parts are perfect.
I hope this may help someone!
Jeff
Just check the large lug on the drivers side of the GPR for voltage, should be around 11v..when cold..if you have voltage here, your LED wiring, etc is at fault..
