LED GPR Hookup help
I have a '01 PSD F-250. Last weekend I found the post on here about hooking up a LED to the GPR. I got the LED and inline fuse from Radio Shack and began to hook it up. I ran the wire from the correct place on the GPR and into the cab grounded out the LED and when I turned the key on the LED didnt light up. So i figured my GPR was bad but it was reading equally on both sides, i hooked up a trailer light i had laying around and it worked. I bought another LED and same thing happened wont light up. When i put the LEDs on a small battery they light up but not when connected to my GPR. Does anyone know why i cant get the LED to work?

also if you have ran your truck recently and try to start it..as long as the engine is still warm it wont come on...my comes on when i start it up after it has been sittin for awhile otherwise when your GPR is energized it wont come on
