battery voltage at startup
I have a sct tcx which is kinda like a scan gauge+programer. when i first turn key on and waiting on the wait to start light i am showing 11.5ish volts. this is while the glow plugs are warming up and fuel pump is running and whatever else is on. it does take a few seconds of the starter turning for the truck to start but when its cool outside around 35f it starts faster...??? that dont make sence to me. do you guys think i need to start plaining to replace the batteries?

The glow plugs draw 10 to 12 amps each. 11.5 volts with the key on waiting for the wait to start light to go out isn't bad at all.
It still wouldn't hurt to disconnect each battery, charge them good, let them sit for awhile and then load test them.

That doesn't sound right to me. Mine is in the 11's when the glow plugs are hot, even after starting, even with brand new batteries, until the alternator turns on. Always has been.
