2011 Factory Remote Start
How many of you guys with 2011's and factory installed remote starters are having intermittent issues. Namely, it doesn't start every time.
I've got to look and see if there is a way to turn off the horn honk when there is a remote start fault. Another foolish feature.

well on the pre-2011 systems, the specific number of horn honks/chirps after non-startups were used to help troubleshoot the system. But I have yet to find a technical file that describes the new 2011 factory system in greater detail and how to troubleshoot it. Also, since it's all plug-n-play now, there's not really much you can check on your own (like if a wire came loose or something), so it sounds like you have to take it back to the dealer.

Trouble is I just don't have a decent dealer in the area to look at this.
I figured it was probably an isolated issue, but with the complexity of our trucks, you never know what's common and what's not.
