I just opened my replacement door panels and started to put them on my doors when it seems that the fasteners won't go into the panel w/o breaking has anyone ever bought these fasteners and panels (they came as a set from LMC) they are oblong shaped with a 1/4 pie cut out. like a miss shaped pacman. The holes are oval in shape.
By your description, these fasteners appear to be universal "fitz-alls." I doubt they are genuine Ford...because the Ford clips are obsolete, their availability is limited.

check this place out, they have the OEM style but with the replacement panels, they are made for a push pin style plastic clip with a "nail" on top of the bigger head that clips intot he panel. once you have all the pins in the back side of the panel, you just push the panel on.
Wire type door trim panel clips were not used on these trucks. 1940/60's passenger cars only.
The push pin type is correct (and is similar to 383033-S100). If I had known someone was gonna make reference to it and the source who has them, I wouldn'ta had to type all that jazz.
Thanks, I appreciate your effort and the picture of the little charmer.
Thanks fellas, the type of fasteners are WAYYYYY TOOO BIGGGG! that is the problem. I went to a friend who runs a body shop and he gave me an assortment of diff. types. I think that i can find a winner and buy some . I really thank you all for answering me and reposting
