I just got a 1970 f-100 free from my uncle, this truck was his teenage fun, any how the truck has seen better days and the cab need lots of work, the floors are rotten and the front kick panels are bad also, from what I can tell the cab mounts are ok, there is rust coming out by the top roof along the windshield, my question is: should I find a replacement cab ( if so where do I look) or try welding and fixing this big mess, I'm good with tools (3rd level automotive tech in Canada) and i can weld.

there is a swap meet at Jeffs Bronco Graveyard on the 16th Thats in Michagan.Last week there was a swap in Ohio there was a mint cab from Arizona for sale.Didn't get any phone no on it.
I say replace as well. I found a good cab for $200. I had it sandblasted, which showed up some small holes in the floor. New floor pans are in, and it's good-2-go. I feel better knowing the cab has been off, I've seen all sides of it, and fixed what was necessary -- rather than piecemeal tacking on bits of metal...
