NP 435 trouble

Hey dudes, I have about 800 miles on my rig working the bugs out slowly. Now that I have a few things addressed and I can actually hear and feel stuff now I definitely have a clunk that I think is coming from my NP435 and 4th gear is REALLY loud. MUCH louder than even granny. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out.

Heres the deal:

So I am driving along with the rig under load, and if I let off the throttle quick I hear a definite clunk. Like if i am moderately accelerating and let off quickly to hit the brakes it does it. As for the loud 4th it happens when under load. The more load the louder it gets. For instance if I am at 1500 rpm and step into it it gets super loud.

The rig: 93 toyota pickup, 37s, 418w, NP435, Advanced Adapter, Toyota tcase, Toyota based driveline, 35 sp 9"

What I know:

ALL new ujoints and splines on driveshaft feel tight with no play.
Traction bar bolts, bushings, and heim is tighter than a....(insert here)
Transmission is just rebuilt (by me, first time) its an NP435 granny 4 speed.
Transfer case is just rebuilt (by me, first time)
The clunk happens in all gears including reverse.
By sound, it sounds like its in the transmission.
You almost hear it more than you feel it. But you can feel it.
Not in the front dshaft or front end.

Theories:

4th gear makes a TON of noise. The more load on it, the louder it gets. I have been reading and it sounds like 4th should be the quietest.

I rebuilt this trans but maybe I did something wrong, it was my first time. To me it seems like a thrust bearing is missing or something, but the only ones I can remember are in the counter shaft.

Can you guys help me figure this out? This has me very worried.

Yep positive. All new, slip yoke is great too. I took my old mechanic buddy for a ride today and he thinks they all make that noise and clunk, you just cant normally hear it well unless you really listen for it in the bigger more insulated trucks. So Im not sure if its normal or not. Sure doesnt sound good.

Hmmm... The tranny shouldn't clunk and shouldn't be noisy in 4th gear either.
