Engine serial number

Where is it located on the 6.0?

The s/n will be stamped on the block, drivers side, rear. And is just about impossible to read with the engine in the truck.

The s/n is also printed on a label on the FICM. If you have the original FICM shell, this is your best bet.

I took a small point and shoot digital camera to take the pic below without any dissassembly. It has your engine s/n and engine build date.

serial number

truck had a rebuilt ficm, so no serial there, i took a dremel tool and blind wire brushed the area, then sent in my android phone and moved my flashlight around to get my serial number.
