Talked to my brother today up north. He said it's raining enough to float an Ark.
He also took a trailer over to pick up the new truck from Mr. Foley.

Bro is gonna haul it back to his shop and get it running.

Was reading a blog called aquafornia. One of the stories said that the Sierra has received 262% of normal.
That was before todays storm.

That sounds right to me. Rain and snow three out of four days in June (?)

It was my impression that most of the rain would be north of Ventura.

That's usually the deciding factor. If it does rain here, we can blame you

Probably right. When I took the studded tires off my Wrangler, we got three more snowstorms.

(It worked out OK, I had just put some new Toyos on my Lariat.)

Shame to see it end up in the ocean, that would water a few So Cal lawns.

I did my part today and re-aimed the sprinklers watering the sidewalk today. Had a little leak to fix too.

Can't wait to have a lawn to have to water.

Been trying to resist washing the truck... buy I'm really starting to miss the smell of a fresh coat of wax.

Finally got the trailer stored and making plans for it's upcoming renovation. Found two new vendors in town that might carry sheet metal for the skin. The popular trailer place in this area wants over $200 for a 4x9 sheet...

Going to hunt for the cable for my camera - finally got a picasa account up and running. I keep promising to post pics... I'm only 9 mo behind on those...

Anyone else have a to-do list that seems to get 2 lines longer every time you check off an item? (Finally came to the conclusion that some of these items must not be all that important, since I'm never going to actually get to them anyway.)

Got a few sprinkles up at Faria today. One guy there had his 07 Corvette along. It had never seen a rain drop before today, and he spent a lot of time with a chamois.

Cloudy and overcast all day, in the mid-sixties. Cool, but not cold. Enough to wear a jacket, but only if you wanted to.

Had a lot of fun, and Bob's fifth-wheel is really nice! Two could live in it for a couple of weeks and not get too antsy.
