Reminds me of my old man telling me about the neighbor--a Swiss fellow who just had all kinds of troubles, mostly breaking equipment--coming to him all out of breath and having a panic attack about his F600 blowing a tire. So my dad gets in HIS F600 with the guy and drives down to the truck with the blown tire. Well, it was one of the duals that was blown and the other was sitting wheel-to-the-ground like it WAS flat, but still had air. My dad let the guy load about 1/3 of the gravel off that poor thing on to his truck--that was about the right amount for the truck. I guess the neighbor or someone else fetched a tractor and was able to scoop off some of the gravel.
So I guess you should gently correct your son on his loading estimates.
I do recall a similar issue with my Structo dump. It DID rust. Hhhmmm.
Yea, just searching for another "WTH" thread. I found "...we grinded the heads..." but the guy edited that out after several people implied only a moron would grind heads to make piston clearance. There's another one like that, I just can't recall but it'll pop up.
