glad to see my late night brothers are up. you guys can come down anytime. you shouled see the mardi gras pics, but i would get kicked off the site for that

George when is madri gras? i'll be 21 this june so i wanna go as soon as possible.

 

mardi gras is the tuesday before ash wednsday (if your catholic). it changes year to year. this year it fell on march 8th but starts about a week early. it really is not the best time to come to New Orleans for fun, although i do say you have to do it once. if you really want to enjoy the french quarter, do it during the off season or a small hoiliday. less jerks and more fun.

My wife and I did the quarter on Valentines weekend a few years back and it happened to fall the week before Fat Tuesday. It was a party to say the least. My only recommendation is to make sure there are some really good black-out curtains in your room...
