new flash 11-b-23

I have just owned my new F350 for 4 weeks and am very happy in all aspects of the truck. I have just received a letter to take the truck in for a 11-b-23 flash has anyone else received this letter and had the flash done. Ford stresses that it has to be done or future claims may be denied.

Did you happen to trade in your 6.4? That tsb is for the 6.4 pcm. I traded my truck in a few weeks ago and got the same letter. Just make sure you read carefully.

Makes sence

I never looked at the Vin I just assumed it was for the new truck. I feel better now as like I stated I have no issues at all with the new one it runs like a dream. I have noted from other posts that some people have had some rough shifting issues but I have only noticed more solid shifts and much better fuel mileage compared to the 08. Thanks for the reply.
