IPOD Install in 2011 F350

All . . . . . I have an IPOD Touch, and would like to put it into my 2011 F350. Can this be done? I see with older Ford trucks that you have to pull the dash to install the IPOD. Is this still true for the new Fords?

I tried to do a search, but no luck. thanks ken

I keep mine in the console.

Use your USB cable that you sync with your PC to connect to the sync USB port. The port is on your dash. (the connection will also charge the iPod) Go into the radio menu and select the USB source. The radio recognizes your iPod and will play songs.

Press "voice" on your steering wheel and say "artist ________" and it will begin playing all songs from the artist. You control your iPod through the radio and sync. Pretty cool.

I may not have all the details correct, but that is the general idea.

Some of the other guys say there is a second port in the back of the stereo that you can tap into and leave your ipod in the glove box.

you'll need an adapter to go from mini USB port to normal USB port but they say it works

look for the thread here somewhere

How does that work for iPod control?

Try this link.
The thread is more about some issues, but has some links to adapters and such.
