Fuel Leak Under Filter

2002 F-350, 7.3 ltr.

I have two leaks. One is fuel, the other is oil. The fuel leak appears to come from a point on the back and bottom of the filter housing. It is very difficult to see for certain because the truck has to be running and I have to lean over everything to see. I don't even know what the part is called and the Chiltons manual has nothing. In this forum I found a few references to fuel leaks, but didn't have enough knowledge to figure out what they were refering to.

There are no hoses or anything connected to the point the leak appears to be coming from. It looks like it might be a place for some optional equipment this truck doesn't have. Looking down behind the filter it is on the left side on the bottom of the filter housing.

I'll save the oil leak for another post. It keeps searching cleaner.

It sounds like you fuel bowl drain orings are leaking. You can get them from Guzzle

Then should there be some kind of tube in that spot to direct the fuel onto the ground rather than the valley?

Do you know of a guide to doing the job? At this point I don't even know how to get to it.
