Not on that pump but I did on my stock one and my burnt up one. Only a spring, holder, and ball. I didn't use compressed air but by plugging both the hpo line holes, ipr hole, and the bleed off line I couldn't blow any air through the pop off valve. Seems like air would blow through it fairly easy if it could leak through there. This is something to think about also, this stock pump that I looked at and blew through was on the pump and was also having the same bleed down issue. Just keep

It may only work under pressure , but also may have some junk in it or a bad spring ...
Other than leaking past injector O rings , that seems to be the only way for the oil to be below the stand pipe if the gasket is good ...
Probly best I just come out and say it! Well you know that resovoir draining issue I've been having, that's what you get with the old style hpop gasket! Dope, I can't belive I missed that! Man you guys don't know how stupid I feel. I was even asked a few times if I had the right gasket and I swore I did. Sad thing is tonight when I pulled out my hpop to inspect the pop off valve and saw the wrong gasket I thought how in the hell did I miss that. Pulled the hpop at least 5 times now. Anyways, straight from the horses mouth.

Glad you found it. At least you probably learn a few things in the process. Hope you use what learned to help someone else out (maybe me when I have to change mine).
