For the past few days my truck when you crank it up after sitting for a good while and drive it down the road say 6 miles or so it will skipp once and the fine after that , its been doing this for about 3 days now . This morning the same thing except after a skipp it wouldnt go over say 1300 rpms for about a minute or so it was like it was starving for fuel . The motor was rebuilt about a month ago and I havent had any issues like this before

Reason: missspelling
The first thing i thouhgt of was the cps. cause i know they can start acting up i just dont remember exactly if these are the symptoms of a cps giong bad.
but its going away, so I doubt the CPS is doing it.
Mine did it. What he describes sounds exactly like what mine would do. Possibly the only difference is that mine sounded like I was rapidly turning the key from stop to run. If it's sputtering, then I doubt it's the CPS. Any way you could take a video with audio of the tach and cluster while it's doing it?
well I drove home from work it skipped once or twice shifting trough the gears , I changed the fuel filter thinking that I run a tank down to low and switch tanks while driving might have picked up some trash , as of this morning the truck ran fine w/out any problems , but the fuel filter had about 2000 mile if that and looked new . The oil was still topped off and looked as if I just changed it . I really dont think it was the filter but figured would be a good starting point . I cant pinpoint the time its going to happen so I cant do the video / audio thing as of yet .
