Is something like this going to be all I need for diagnostics on a 6.0? I thought I remember some sort of add on that was necessary?

Yes AE will but you still have to purchase the ford expansion pack wich is another $199 That one is a refurbished interface You can get a new one from rifraff with the ford expansion pack for $359 A E is well worth the money Riffraff Diesel: AutoEnginuity Total Ford Enhanced Bundle

 

I would be leery of buying used from E-Bay. First of all, the ST05 interface is the oldest and not compatible with all enhancements. The new Proline connector is software updateable and will work with all current and future enhancements.

And, you will still have to buy the Ford Enhanced package in order to read Enhanced codes on a Ford vehicle.

 

And Will AE Support That?
