Do you specifically need a diesel one?
The Snap-On one does not come with adaptors, those cost extra.
If you need one for a gas engine, I have a Matco CT110K and it's pretty nice, it replaced a Mac one that was about 20years old.
In that case you DEFINITELY need a diesel gauge. The range of a gas engine gauge goes up to about 200PSI, while the range of a diesel gauge goes up to about 700PSI. Also for diesels there is a wide range of adapters for connection to various glow plug and injector holes.
I got a pretty good diesel set for about $100 about 6 or 8 years ago from one of the online tool sites.
A leak down is done through the GP's as well . Set each cylinder to top dead center , plug in the tester . You will hear air ,either from the exhaust , intake ,or c case. the gauge on the tester tells you the percentage of loss . As in 80 /80 being 100% ect..It is a very accurate test , mostly used by airplane mechanics...
