Eliminate them, Welcome to guzzle's In-tank Hutch Mod Web Page, technically you could probably get a new mixing chamber from the dealer, but there is no reason. Instead of adding the large filter many including myself do a 3/8" inline filter (Rated for diesel and suction) for a few$ at most parts stores.
