If your EGR works, and you want to fab up a pipe, you'll need to bend your own to reach the rear EFI manifold.
If not, block everything off and remove the vacuum to the EGR spacer. It'll most likely make the carburetor run a little lean, so you may want to look into richening up the jet a size or two.
So I had some trouble installing the EFI exhuast manifold. I had to modify it a bit to get it to fit under the intake. I had to grind down two nothces on the rear manifold is this a normal part of the process. I have pictures but I am unsure of how to post them.

Ack, sorry I didn't mention that. You usually can't install them without doing exactly that. I'm really glad you noticed. You can bust something if you try to tighten it all down without grinding a little off the EFI manifolds.
Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt mutilating it for no reason. Hopefully I will have some pictures of the finished product tommorow before I drop it in the truck. This is my first rebuild hopefully everything goes well when I try to turn it over for the first time.
I just finished the bottom end of the engine and have put the oil pan in place. I installed the oil pump and torqued the bolts to the proper specifications but I'm thinking I should have put some lock tite or lock washers on it. Debating on whether opening it back up to do this or should I not worry about it.
