RiffRaff boot questions

Do I need to reuse the rings on the two intercooler boots when installing RiffRaff's? What do those things do, anyway?

Also, I read somewhere, though I can't find it now, that hairspray should not be used on these boots. True?

No you do not use the rings on the new boots and just clean off all the oil off of the tubes and your set to go.

im a fan of the hair spray i use it not in excess but works well for me and my truck
