Transmission Flash?
I love my truck, but not this transmission shift hesitation. Before I contact my service dept. about this, I would like to know if anyone has had a re-flash done (if there is one), and if so, what were the results.

My 09 had that same hesitation between 1st and 2nd when I first bought it, but has since gone away. Someone on here told me that the trans has to learn your driving habits and then it adjusts itself accordingly.
But, efx4, you have had your truck for some time now. That may not be the case with your truck

The shift hesitation happens when in any gear, but it's mostly when I'm cruising along and I need to accelerate quickly and the trans slowly goes down every gear and then after about 3 or 4 seconds, it finally moves. I have a lead foot, so the pcm should have learned my ways after 4 months. It's tough to pass or merge because I need to give myself more then a few seconds extra for the truck to respond. I'm just going to call the dealer and take it from there.
