Have a 95 bronco with a 351. Parked for two months. Got in it today took off and trannys slippin and then shifting hard. But my real question is the overdrive light on the shifter keeps flashing "off". Its a steady flash. Any ideas about the flashing light?

 

Also the speedo has quit working. It too worked fine when parked. Could it be related?

 

Check the fuses? sounds like a blown fuse.

 

Check fuses and pull codes, this trans is 100% computer controlled.

 

Speedometer runs off the speed sensor in the rear end as does the ABS. May be a related problem with the trans.

 

Check fuses 8 and 18. If your dome lights aren't working, it'll be fuse 8.
