I also have this problem. I don't see the cab mounts in LMC though. I am not to worried about high quality as this will be a mud truck. And be built for purpose not for pretty. And not to last a lifetime. Those mounts that other poster made are awfully sturdy. Good job on that build.

If it's a mud truck then you should worry about it even more! All that bouncing will eventually crush the thin mount. At the very least replate the bottom of the replacement cab corners with some minimum 1/8 plate on the bottom and wrapping a couple inches up the 4 sides to prevent problems..
Do what you want but I've done my share of "mudding" too man...

On that note you are right. It would suck to have the cab collapse onto the tires after a rough hill or creek bank climb. Or the ordinary 2 ft jump.

They're 44" swampers. Just saying you'll regret it when it fails. It really is the weakest spot on the whole truck body. I went through the replacement cab corners flattening them, ripping them and w/e. I even tried to replate the bottom but didn't go with a heavy enough gauge. I like to build things to overkill after it fails just like every part on my entire truck from axles, driveshafts, steering to every bolt grade 8.
This was my old cab corner on my replacement cab. Not really 4x4 worthy

I see know. I have rebuilt a few ol chevys. And made them crazy *** offroad ready and have never seen Anything like this. It seems I am dealing with a different animal now. It appears to be a real truck.

I am running 38.5s on mine. And need the cab to be right to make them clear good. I figured it was weak springs and bad shocks. It wasn't, I did all that today. The worst part was the Center top bolt for the springs I swear they were original. I gave up 2 mins in and torched 'em out. And made brackets to hold the spring in from plate steel.

The passenger side is 2 inches lower then the driver side. I jacked up the cab and it straightened right out.
