front cab mounts

I need pictures and some description of the front cab mounts on a 1948 f1. the p o cut them off
I have seen pictures of the cab mounts in catalogs but I need to understand how they are mounted with rubber to isolate the cab.+

Did you mean to type in 1948 or 1949 or 1951? If you're looking for infomation on a '41 you'll have a better chance of getting that information on the pre '48 board.

I still do not know how the piece on each lower front corner of the
the cab is to work. that is what the PO cut off. I need some pictures
of the lower front where the front cab mount attaches to the cab and,I think the frame

I don't have any detailed pictures detailing how the cab mounts but Northern Classic Truck has this image on their web site showing the the assembly of the parts they sell:



There are more parts to the cab that the front braces mount to that they don't sell.

I'm sure you'll get the pictures you need before the day is over.

It might also help to post some pictures of your cab so we can get an idea of what you're contending with.

Thanks for the pic of the mounts. My cab is going on this weekend and I was going to ask for this pic later in the week..
