Got My Build Date

Starting to get excited. Got my build date today: March 16, 2011. Estimated delivery the week of April 4th. F-350 Crew Cab Lariat 6.7 SWB SRW.

I hope the truck arrives in time to get enough break-in miles on it before towing 8,000 lbs with it at the end of April.

Got the VIN also

Got the VIN also. I was thinking of adding a gooseneck set-up and moonroof, but too late now! I saw a post that said with a VIN you can check with the factory to see build progress. Anyone know how?

You can call Ford Customer Service and give them your number and they can tell you where it is and whenit suppose to ship as well as arrive at the dealer.

You can also see your window sticker now that you have the VIN number at this site.
Just add your VIN number at the end of the link.

Here is one with a old VIN. Just add your VIN at the end and remove the nonfunctioning one.

VIN Not in System

Tried to get the window sticker at the link you provided. Respnse says my VIN is not in the system

The number is correct but you may have to wait a few more days before the window sticker is generated.

Ford's customer service reps are great to deal with when it comes to ordered trucks (haven't dealt with them on anything else). When all was said and done with my truck, I asked if they'd send me a list of the tracking details for my truck and got an email with a spreadsheet attached that had every timestamp of all the steps the order went through from it being Unscheduled - Clean to the transit company that handled the deliver to the dealer. It's pretty cool to have on hand, and I'm sure the next owner will appreciate it years from now.
