Just bought a 1975 F-250 4X4 with a 460. Looking for some help deciphering numbers on my differentials, engine and transfer case. Having trouble locating them, here is what I have found. The front diff has a forged number 35133, and the axel tube has stamped number 1315A4 06033951. Rear diff has a tag bolted to it, 3 54 D7TA AEB 603883 3. Differential is separated from transmission (Is this called divorced?) numbers on plate are MOD 203 Ratio 196 ASSY NO D3TA7A195AA. On the heads I found D3VE-A2A, and on the right bank, just below the head on the front I found 8J118635 stamped in the block. Automatic transmission, C-6 I believe. Looking for some help reading these numbers, or do i even have the right numbers. Thanks in advance for the help.

F226YRW-1444 133 S F261 2 4 A 24J 07100 1975 74 Doesn’t have the original engine, so I’m not sure these are the original differentials either. I appreciate the help, I need all I can get!!
The first number is the vin: F226YRW-1444
BTW I think you meant F26 instead of F226 and there should be five numerals at the end instead of four. It means:
F-250 4x4
360 2v
San Jose assembly plant
the W and last five numerals tells when in the year the truck was made
The next numbers:
The 133 is the wheelbase in inches
S is the exterior paint code: Dark Blue Metallic
F261 is the model code: 7,100 GVW F-250 4x4
The 2 is a trim code: blue interior
The 4 is the body code: styleside pick-up
The A is the transmission code: New Process 435 4-speed
The 24 is the rear axle code: 5300# dana 60 with 4.10 gears
The J is the front axle code: I'm not really sure on this one, it's listed as a 5000# axle though
The 07100 is the GVWR again
The 74 is the district/special order code: Seattle
