the 1249 code
hi, i have a 03 with a 7.3. have 5' mbrp exhaust, banks turbo housing with quick spool impeller, banks big head wastegate, triple dog tuner(run it in towing or performance mode only) running the k&n intake but just bought the riff raff have yet to install. everytime i get on the freeway i get the 1249 code. i installed a boost annihilator but the adjustment on it has been turned by accident from the stock setting. not sure if it has anything to do with it

We have seen the Bully Dog programmer cause the 1249, but the boost fooler won't.

ok, maybe i need to find out how many turns on that boost thing to set it. by the way my airfilter kit came in today from your company. its the biggest filter i have ever seen. looks good,thanks

i just got that same code...when i talked to bill at PHP(i have his tuner) he said it was because i was having problems with my EBPS. i had a hole in the tube, so i removed the tube and the sensor...next day got the code and only could get 20 psi of boost(usually 30). last night installed a new tube and new sensor and the truck was back to normal last night. no code and boost back to normal. may want to look at the tube and sensor and see if it needs cleaned. guzzle has a great write up...
