I had my eye on a trailer at A&S...I saw it online and called about it, it was gone. They had a similar one, but it was an '11 model and quite a bit more. The guy was cool and took a pretty good chunk of coin off, but it still was more than I wanted to spend.

We finally took delivery yesterday and it went very well. I got the draw-tite round bar WD with dual cam HP sway control and electric jack for $650 installed including the cost of the hitch and jack. My salesman and I agreed on an electric jack to be installed since there wasn't one on there, but he didn't write it up in the work request so the manager did it for nothing since we already agreed on a price.

They also installed my Tekonsha P2 brake controller for no additional charge.

Mike got me all set up with an SCT X3, so I should be all set for a trip.

I got my trailer last Monday, they did a great job going over everything and showing me how to use, setup, and maintain the trailer. I got the Blue Ox WDH, I got the 15000/1500 one, it seemed to be the best for the money. I ordered a electric jack off of eBay for $115, 3500 lbs with no light, but good price. The guy that showed us all about the trailer told us to buy most of our stuff from Walmart and not them, it was nice to here someone who works there try to help save a little money.
Overall was very happy with the delivery experience at the Mt. Clemens location, and Mike the general manager is the one who took care of us for the sale, very good guy.
I would recommend this location to friends.

350 miles into our trip to FL, the drivers side round bar snapped in half at the bend. Luckily, I was pulling into a fuel station. I was able to limp to a RV place and they got me all set up with a trunnion style WD hitch instead of the round bar. I had to go with a new style because they did not deal with the round bar systems, only the trunnion style. I would've rather bought the new bar and been on my way, but that was not an option. I called General RV while I deciding on what to do and the manager said whatever you decide to do, the original price of the hitch will be refunded plus the difference as the new trunnion style hitch was a bit more.

I am running the top set up now, the bottom pic was the original set up:

I did not notice much difference between the two systems.

i have the one on top. i love it. its easy to hook up, and really eliminates swaying. does the round style have a lower weight rating?
