I am not saying you should, but you could talk to cass and ask him to make larger stage 2s. With that you could keep the7:1 ratio and have enough cc to break 400. Just a thought!!

High capacity A-codes take A LOT of high pressure oil. That's why hybrids are so popular with the stock/medium oil guys because they aren't nearly as oil-hungry as the A-codes. Yes, the injection pressure is about 30% lower with the hybrids, but that's easy to fix, especially at light load or cruising speed.
238's are the way to go. Might as well spend the money and go bigger, sucks wanting to upgrade later down the road. Or someone could just buy my truck with all the mods done to it.....
I don't know what gears I have in the rear of my beast but at 2000 rpm I am doing 61 mph. The best I have ever gotten fo fuel milage has bee 16 mpg. If changing out injectors would get me better milage which way to go.?

Nice numbers, man. Is that a stock bottom end? I'm running about 50/100 less than you on a stock PMR block with the same tunes/almost the same injectors (runs out of air with the van turbo)...
So now I don't know what to do! I talked with casserly earlier today about my injectors and he said besides being a little out of spec there was nothing wrong. I think he said 7 of em were putting out less than 140cc but on the oil side they were holding pressure. I can understand that the fuel issue will make it a luk sluggish but why the oil consumption. Am I missing something here. I'm running a modded pump that was making pressure on another truck with the same injectors so where is the oil going? I really need advice in where to go from here. My wife said $100 bucks to the person who properly diagnoses my problem!!

Injector O-rings... the only thing left that I can think of unless your tranny isn't putting it to the ground. As the speed increases (as slow as it is), are your RPM's climbing like they should? When you put your sticks back in, put them back in with new O-rings and see what you've got!
I wish but the flow test if I'm not mistaking actually uses the orings that are already on the injectors to do the test. Maybe someone can answer that for me to know for sure. Jon if it's o rings I'll owe you $100 bucks!!

If it is, you'll have to find my address first and I ain't giving it to ya! Is it too late to call Casserly?
Any other ideas? I sure could use em! I have to decide if I want my stick ones back or upgrade without knowing for sure what the problem really is!
Well, Dave, I think the shipping back and forth would be worth it if it did end up being only O-rings. I would consider having them throw nozzles on there, though...
I'm in a similar boat as bulla. I'm looking for about 400HP....similar to what the new trucks are puttin down. I pull about 7~8000 lbs. Just bought a new 38R turbo. I'm torn between Stage 2's and Hybrids. The .pdf has me a little concerned about losing IP from 21K down to 15K lbs....but on the flip side I don't wanna taxi my HPOP or replace either. I only have 77K miles on her
Will I have to get new tunes with either injectors(running a Diablo)? Since Hybrids have less IP, are they quieter?
BTW...I could only see 238cc FFD Hybrids on RRDP...was thinking more about the 200cc Hybrids level or the 165cc Stage2. Is there a happy medium???
Hey bud, I went with stage 1's and was very happy till I ate a tranny. But I also had other reasons for not going bigger. Either way you go you'll still need some different tuning for the single shots where your original injectors are split shots. Good luck and you may even have better results starting a new thread.
