Holy cow Chris. I know we have basically the same set-up and the exact same sticks but why do you get 7 MPG less. Is your right foot made out of lead? Tell the truth.
Robin, hows the smoke test there. That is the only real big thing here in Calif beside putting the cat on. Do you have a smog tune or is it just very light when rev'd. I am putting on T500 when I get it next week so I should be alright as far as ICP psi. I also have the 15 HPOP soon to change. Your hybirds really sound great. Chet
Sorry for not calling, David -- I ended up hanging out in Ft. Worth after the run yesterday listening to tunes and having some good times with some friends. If you still want to chat, let me know...
200cc stix and either a van turbo or a 38r will get you into the low 400s easily. I'm there with my 238cc/100% Casserly stix, but really only planned on the 200cc/80s. Personally, I think more than 100% nozzles at 200 or 238cc is a bit much, but that's me. Ryan (I'm completely spacing his screen name right now) was running 200cc Hypermax stage 2s with a van turbo and put down about 435 hp. My 238s with enough air would get me to 500, I think. I may be going with a 38r later just to see what it'll do. I might be regretting that, but we'll see..... LOL
I think it has alot to do with the Honolulu stop and go traffic. Last year I shipped my truck to the big island and got 20 mpg hand calculated because it's all straight roads of miles.
So we do get the same MPG. Excellent.
I don't know you that well but I know you well enough
that when you are in stop and go traffic there is more GO then stop.
I always hand calculate. I don't have a lie-o-meter.
King of the hill for a day. Loved the hell out of it. Hadn't been that pumped in a long time. But those three runs were the first and last since that day. Now if somone had beat my time I would have gone back out there and bested them or broke the truck. One or the other.

No smog check in this county.
A minimal or no smoke tune is certainly available.
Those 15° pumps just don't hack it. That was the first thing that got pulled right after I got AE and saw how weak it was on a WOT run.
I went with the 250/100's cause of there flexibility. With the right tuning they can be dumbed down to perform like stock and ramped up to fry me brain.
Well I think I have decided between 2 injectors. Stage 2's or 200/80% hybrids. On most websites they say 400- 425+ hp with supporting mods. Which one will be more fuel efficent? Seems like the stage 2's would be but that's just a guess by me being that they have more fuel pressure for better atomization provided you have enough oil pressure. Also will a van turbo support one or the other better? I'm just trying to stay away from a larger turbo. Thanks for all the input. I'll be sending my injectors off today and hopefully I'll have some results by the weekend!!

It says "on the bench" in your sig -- have you put 'em in yet?? Be prepared to feel like you're driving a race car once you do!! Then you'll be like me when you drive your truck:

Like we talked about, I would do 200/80 hybrids with a van turbo. Which is what I was already going to do before someone offered me a hot deal on the 238s (thanks Clay!! ). You'll get plenty good mileage out of em as long as you drive like gramps. My record is a hair over 22 mpg hand calculated (210 miles on ~9.5 gallons)...

Not yet Joe. Still trying to organise container space for the long block that they will going into.
I'd have to say AC's with 100% nozzles. That's equivalent to a stage-2, but it's all new. The internals have NEVER been modified or tampered with, they're manufactured so they're consistent, and on top of that they're VERY reliable! Not quite the HP as a hybrid, but I really don't like the fact that the injector has to be modified to do it... my goal with my truck is to hop it up while maintaining the reliability that got me to 304K. I'm sure an injector could be built and modified that would be just as good as any new injector, but I want my truck to have the reliability to cross the country and back as many times as I dang-well please. But if you're anything like me, if you were to have a hybrid that was tuned down, you'd eventually die of curiosity and max it out just to see what it feels like.
