Immo light blinks no start

Hi.

My Ford Ranger 3.0 Diesel 2007 assemble in Thailand. It cranks but won't start!

Scanned and it shows the Anti Theft System fault. The Immo light is blinking on the dash causing me can't start.

This car had a bad accident on the driver side and roll'ed. Engine is fine and crank-able but the injector nozzle are not supplying power to let fuel go through

Any help ? where is the Immo unit located and and is there a way to bypass ?

Thanks!

If your vehicle was not made for the North American market, we won't be able to help you.

At least some information on how to solve it ?

@update

I noticed there is a flash code for the immo light. It looks like 11 code.
Flash once for a short pause and the other flash fast and off.

What could it be ?

We don't even know what the heck an "immo" light is since it doesn't exist on this side of the ocean.

Whatever you have (and you still haven't said what this is), it's not going to be the same as a North American truck.

The code 11 for PATS (Passive Anti Theft System) indicates signal isn't getting received at control module. Must be break in wiringe between pickup and module. If transceiver near ignition switch got trashed it will need to be replaced. Likely a dealer only part.I don't have any troubleshooting steps to investigate it further.

B1681 ³ 11 ³ PATS Transceiver Signal Is Not Received ³ GO to Pinpoint Test B1681. ³

Where is the module ? Does the Ranger equip a sensor thing around the key cylinder as well like other car immobilizer ?

Yes there is a sensor around key cylinder. If broken it is likely the source of your problem. Not sure of location of module.

We have members from all over the world with vehicles of a variety of delivery destinations.

Saying "we dont know what you are talking about", "we cant help", etc is counter productive and not what this forum is about. If you cant help I politely ask you to keep your opinions to yourself. He has not said, but with a DSO of thailand, th OP might not have a dealer anywhere near them.

To hellgrace5, WELCOME ABOARD! There are some great people around here that are more than happy to help if we can (I am not one of them since this is out of my league). Sounds like we are talking about the pats system/vehicle security system.

Keep posting your tests and questions, there are a few people around here who have been into this system and know about it.

Why dont you post a pic of your truck too. There are probably some folks around here that would love to see a diesel motor in a ranger. They are not available in the US!
